Q: What is prayer ?

A: Prayer is talking with God

Q: When can I pray?

A: You can talk with God anytime. You don’t even have to close your eyes or kneel. You can pray while you ride your bike, when you’re ready to take a test in school, when you’re out on the street. Anywhere! God is always there ready to listen!

Q: What do I say?

A: Tell God that you love him and that you think he’s wonderful. Tell him you’re sorry for something you have done wrong. Ask him to help you with something difficult. Thank him for loving you and for being in your life.

Q: Can I tell God anything?

A: Absolutely! You can tell God anything that happened , anything you feel bad about, anything you’re sorry about, anything you need help with… anything!

Names Are Important

What is your name?

Do you know what your name means? Do you know why your parents gave you your name? Almost every name has a meaning. John means ‘God is gracious.’ Sarah means’princess’. Matthew means ‘gift of God’, Cheryl means ‘Filled with grace’.

God loves you and he knows your name. He even says so in Isaiah 43:1: ‘I have (called) you by name, you are mine.’

You're More Than Just A Kid

The Bible says, ' Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.' But, how can we do that, we're just kids?

Well, sure you're kids. But you're people too! Besides that, you're people with a purpose if you have Jesus in your hearts. Remember what the Bible says: 'Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young (1 Timonthy 4:12)'.

You're all children of Lord, from the newest newborn baby to the greatest greatest grandparents. You can each share the Good News of God's love for the world. No matter how old or young you are you can tell others about the love of Jesus!!!
